The Acorn Inn operates a “Lottery System” for “Special Event” weekends such as: Graduation and Family Weekend through 2017. No lotteries are set up beyond the 2017 year.
The Acorn Inn thanks families for their patronage. Guests may enter any lottery AFTER they have stayed at the inn at least one night. Each night counts as one entry, so the more a guest stays the higher their chance of winning. (Non-patrons are ineligible to enter the lottery but can participate in auctions)
Lottery submissions for May 19 -21 are now closed. If we can accommodate your reservation request, you will receive a phone call from our team requesting additional information, including a valid credit card and deposit to guarantee the room. If you have not received a room you will receive an e-mail noting that you have been placed on the waiting list.
A non-refundable deposit of one night’s stay will be charged upon confirmation of a room reserved. The remaining balance on any reservations will be due and charged 30 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation cannot be changed or cancelled. If you are selected in the lottery and receive a call from our team to confirm your room, we request that you return the call within 24 hours to guarantee the room. After that time, your request will go on the waitlist and we will move on to another guest.
Lottery and auction winners are allowed one suite per winner, billed one night’s stay in advance with a three-night minimum for a party of two occupants. Additional guests may be added for $25 per person each night.
Reservation dates consisting of a three (or more) night stay before or after the “Special Event” will be billed at standard rates.
Most of the “Special Events” cover a weekend period; however, if your travel schedule only allows for a Thursday-Friday and Saturday combination or a Friday, Saturday and Sunday combination, the three-night minimum will still apply.
Auction Rules- The Acorn Inn will auction off our last 3 suites so both patrons and non-patrons can participate. The auction will begin Friday, January 27th and will continue until Monday, February 27th . TWO KING SUITES and 1 TWO BEDROOM SUITE are awarded to the two highest bidder/s for a combination of THREE nights each, Thursday, May 18; Friday, May 19; Saturday, May 20, or Sunday, May 21, 2017:
The King Suites will accommodate up to three people; the 2 Bedroom up to 5.
This weekend is traditionally reserved via lottery (ending January 26, 2017) but the auction (ending February 27, 2017) gives an opportunity to guests who have not stayed with us before.
The auction also gives an option to those of you whose name might not have been drawn. Bidding is for up to a party of two, additional guests can be added for $25 each.
-Bidding starts at $925 each suite for three nights of these four, May 18, 19, 20 or 21, 2015.
-On January 27th beginning at 9AM EST, will we feature 3 BUY IT NOW options to obtain the ability to reserve 2 king suites and a 2-bedroom suite.
-Simply complete the form below and put the words BUY IT NOW and $2017 in the "message" field.
-We will honor the first two submitted no earlier than 9AM EST on January 27, 2017.
-2 Suites are left for the Auction and the AUCTION closes at 8:59 am on February 27, 2017.

Cancellation Policy - if you cancel within 30 days of Graduation you will be charged the full amount of the stay
